About the artist

Born in Flagstaff, Arizona, Jo Anne learned her craft from a Blackfoot artist while living in Southern California. She remained in California for 20 years, perfecting her beading method. Primarily using vintage beads, she hand-stitches each one onto a decorative backing, which is then Personally framed.

JoAnne has been beading for over 40 years. Each artwork takes many months to complete, each piece created looking under a magnifying glass. Every piece is unique and cannot be duplicated. JoAnne's work has been displayed and sold in galleries across Utah, California, New Mexico, and Arizona.
